"Laptop" (couch) Gaming

Aragorn-

I have a PC in the lounge which i do some gaming on. Until now i've tended to play things with a joypad (eg Racing games) or used my VR setup.

I would like to try and play some more traditional keyboard and mouse type games (eg DOOM Eternal, or Control) but quickly realise sitting with my wireless keyboard balanced on my lap and mousing on a cushion its pretty garbage.

So i'd like some recommendations for "couch gaming" type setups that are comfortable and work properly.

I thought i remembered watching a video last year on LTT, but when i search i only find some vids from like 4+ years ago :/

Sorry, maybe i wasnt clear. Its a proper PC, hooked up to the TV.

I already have an XBox One pad that i use for suitable games. I'm just looking for more traditional controls.

I actually got myself a Corsair Lapboard that I think is something like you're looking for:

https://www.corsair.com/us/en/Categories/Products/Gaming-Keyboards/Wireless-Keyboards/K63-Wireless-Mechanical-Gaming-Keyboard-and-Gaming-Lapboard-Combo-%E2%80%94-Blue-LED-%E2%80%94-CHERRY%C2%AE-MX-Red/p/CH-9515031-NA

The bottom is really comfy if you can deal with the size as it's got a pretty good size keyboard on there. They have the board alone but your own keyboard might not lock in correctly like the made for it one does.

Thanks. I've ordered a lapboard on its own, will see how it feels and decide if i want to splash out on the K63 wireless to go with, as its pricey!

thats good to know. Theres a few K63 keyboards on ebay, so i guess if the lapboard itself looks good i can try to get a K63 to go with it.

I should point out as its probably not clear, it was the K63 lapboard i ordered, just on its own without the keyboard.
