AUX antenna cable damaged

Hello there

So I have a refurbished AW 13 R3 which always had problematic bluetooth, and I didn't think much about it, I just got a BT adapter and called it a day.

However, upon closer inspection after some time, I noticed that the auxilliary cable of the network card is unplugged and wrapped in tape, as in it hasn't got the adaptor end.

Now I know this is mainly for wifi, but has this cable anything to do with the sucky bluetooth? I would replace the cable without much fuss, but I'd have to do a full laptop dissasemply, which I'd rather not for only this thing.

Also if I were to replace the cable, does it really need to follow the same route inside the chassis? I mean if it really is just an antenna maybe I could fit in in another place (somewhere away from the hot parts)?
