Advice on new build

Omid123457

Hello!

I am actually all set on my build, but I wanted some advice on 2 fronts, and this seemed like the place to go.

First, I am considering getting an HDD rather than an SSD to shave some money off my build, and get a bit more storage. I already own a 1tb ssd, so I should be alright on speed, but I am worried about noise. I am not particularly sensitive when it comes to noise, but the way some people describe it kinda worries me. I have a mini fridge in my room that regularly generates a fair bit of noise, would the pc be adding to it, or be drowned out by it?

Second, the case I plan to use is the Meshify C by Fractal. I like that it is a solid case, with great airflow, a good filter, and non glass side panel (I am going for a clean no frills look). It is 120 bucks, and I feel that it is a bit pricey, so I wanted to see if anyone had some comparable budget alternatives.

Overall, the savings I'm looking at will only be about 100 CAD, but every cent counts.

Thanks in advance for any help

HDDs are not that loud, unless you buy 10K RPM or higher ones.

transparent sides are so popular it will be difficult to find a good case without one. NR600 and P300A/P400A are on my mind.

Ill look into those cases, and I will be sure to keep it under 10K; I was looking at 7200 RPM. Thank you for your advice!
