$1000 for a 3600 + rx 580 is a bit much

given that brand new, can probably fit in a 2060S or maybe 5700XT(?)

not too familiar with pricing these days

-sigh- feeling like I'm being too negative lately

It's still a $300 graphics card, and  $200 cpu. The case is quite expensive, and my m.2 is as well. The power supply is $150 on its own.

idk man, i could build a pretty good (or even better) gaming PC for ~$1000, and it's brand new

overspending on watercooling and good casing isnt the wisest thing to do for a mid-range build anyways, it's all about what u can get for the money

Talk about cringe. This is going to end up the new marine copypasta.

As far as pricing goes $600 for the PC sounds reasonable for Ryzen 3600 + RX580.

Quickly running through pcpp choosing whatever items were at the top. $900, brand new. Asking $1000 for such a system used is unrealistic.

I mean, last black friday i paid $220 for my 590, and that's in my country, where prices are inflated quite a bit, and a lot of things are not available, so $300 for a 580 is a rip off.

so at the time your min price was 1000 for the PC? depending on currency, if you were doing USD I would pay maybe 880-1000 CAD.

not really, 700-800 is about right, everything else is still expensive. The case and power supply are around $120-$140. I haven't really used the computer much either.

depends on what else you have in there, who knows if u have a 2TB 970 evo or smth

but from a buyer's point of perspective, i could spend $800 on a rig that outputs more fps, instead of a fancy casing with watercooling, or an overkill PSU

once it's out of the box, it's not brand new and the value drops, that's how it is, unfortunately

OP thinks he knows pricing best (he very obviously doesn't) and gets mad and deletes his claims when challenged.

What currency are you using? I assumed USD but if you're using Canadian or Australian dollar it might make more sense?

As for the case wasn't that a cooler master H500? It would help if you listed what the parts are.
