Mac vs Console

Seriously though, dont hate me, but Macs can be WWAAAAYYYYY more powerful. Also OS X is way more evolved than the PS4 and XBONE UI.

For what? they have 2 completly diff uses... Mac is for web stuff and other productivity stuff, console are strictly for gaming...

Well for gaming sadly steam games are limited on the Mac OS as well as the hardware configurations on mac are not easy to get a high spec'd machine to run games. A xbox one or PS4 would be a better gaming platform but a Mac has a lot more productivity features as well as being a full computer.

he could go with an imac but that will be much more expensive and slower than a hackintosh

OP your comparing two completely different things here. Macs are kinda like PCs they can do far more things than gaming though macs aren't not good at gaming. Where as Consoles are solely for gaming purposes.

If you are talking about gaming, don't get a mac, gaming on macs is like eating cereal on a plate.

Yeah, you can defiantly configure a mac that will game wayy better than a console, the new mac pro should be beast, but a mac at the same price range as xbone or ps4 won't even come close

If you can afford to own Apple hardware, then you can just as well get whatever console you want in addition.
