Can I use an EPS Connector as a 8-pin CPU one?

Hello there. I don't know much about powersupplies but while choosing the right one for my future build I found something that I can't seem to understand. So in the listed connectors for most powersupplies they have a 8-pin +12V Power connector (for the CPU). All clear for now. Some units however have instead of this connector a 4+4 pin EPS one or a 4+4 Pin ATX/EPS. So could someone tell me if a EPS 4+4 is going to work with a normal AM4 motherboard or do I have to find a non-EPS one.

My motherboard is an Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 and the power supply I plan on using is the Deepcool DQ750ST (the EPS connector one I mentioned above).

Thanks in advance!

EPS is the CPU 8-pin

Most will break into a 4 + 4 pin so if you only have a 4 pin header for your CPU you can use it that way too.

Deepcool DQ750ST. It says that it is ATX form-factor but only for the connector there is "1 x EPS 12V CPU 4+4 pin" instead of a normal "CPU 4+4 pin". And now I am confused if it will work fine with my Asrock B550 Phantom Gaming 4 MOBO.

So you are telling me that I don't have anything to woory about this PSU working with my MOBO
