Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): This is my first build ever, and I'm looking to future-proof it a bit because I don't have too much money to work with at all times, I'm gonna be working my butt off for this one even. Overall you overspent on a lot, that build is over $2k. Personally I would really want to wait for Q1/Q2 2021, if you feel you cannot I would recommend:

Get the R5 3600 (non x), better value and buy, you really are not leaving any performance on the table. You can use the stock cooler.

Save yourself a bit ont h motherboard, the Pro MAX is still really good with regards to VRM performance.

Saving big on RAM.

Better m.2 that has dram cache and good value in terms of $/GB

GPU is good.

Better value case.

More PSU for the same $

Great value RGB fan 5-pack 

Just go for IPS, a lot better visually, and 144HZ is plenty, you won't distinguish 144 to 160Hz. Still offers FreeSync.

but here's one thing , i'd still prefer a curved monitor, so it's hard finding anything around 27 inches and IPS without it being $500+

IMO Curved below 31" makes no sense, and doesn't always yield great visuals especially for non IPS panels. Ultimately you decision, but at 27" a curved panel won't ad an immersed feeling.

It just takes time to getting used to, like TN to IPS. Curved or not curved - same thing... just eye gymnastics.
