Laptop surround sound

I bought a laptop with built-in Dolby audio.Moreover i also have Dolby atom for headphones with Microsoft store license.My problem is when i go to spatial sound option,I can only set my dolby atom for headphones in there.But there is no turn on 7.1 surround sound option on my laptop.Moreover i saw a desktop there is function.My laptop is with built-in Dolby audio device.But when I go configuration option on my sound drive to set surround sound that time i only get stereo on my laptop.Can anyone please help me to turn on surround sound?or my laptop is built-in surround system?
