Can confirm that the problem does not exist with the 5700XT.

I believe this has something to do with Window's full screen optimization. You should be able to turn that off in the games root folder. Properties settings on the .exe Somewhere in there. Disable that and it should fix the stutter. 2080 Super is plenty for 1080p ultra so it's not the hardware,

That could may be the reason (it's not gonna help for sure)

Why did you disable pbo - also im not entirely sure that's how it works... My mobo doesn't even seem to support pbo (as far I can tell) but my 3600 happily boosts to 4.2 anyways...

would be great if u can tell me how to boost it without having to test the cpu for like hours. i actually turned on PBO its running at 4ghz which is very good and beyond my needs but i wouldnt mind 4.2 if its stable

yes i did that and i guess ill test it. Also it would be nice if you can give me any info on the paging file size and how to optimize it for gaming

Why did you even turn it off? Makes no sense, but at least it should work properly now.

I believe it's best to let windows manage these things, user interaction tends to make it worse, and there's nothing wrong with the windows default page file settings.

Update: the game definitely doesnt sutter but the frames arent the best especially when raiding in england my frames drop to 50's but i guess thats just the game's optimization @Mark Kaine@BTGbullseye

well this game does prefer AMD gpus rather than NVidia so it does make sense for the 5700xt to beat your 2080 super.1440p-ACV.png

Yes, but not by that much... 3 FPS difference is not that big. (though the 5FPS on the 1% lows is a bit more relevant)

ultra high

So, that's everything maxed? Motion blur and all, or do you turn that off like any sane person? What about the setting that automatically adjusts quality to maintain framerates of at least 60FPS? (I really don't need it, but I enable it anyways since I can't see any difference)

Either way, I average at least 60FPS out of my underclocked and undervolted 5700XT at 1080p, and your card should get at least that as well.

Ah... Discord is well known to eat resources it really shouldn't need.
