Is there any 3440x1440 benchmarks on rx 6800 xt ?

Tadziunia

Hey people, saw benchmarks of new AMD cards, it tends to performs better than nvidia at FHD and 1440p and slightly weaker at 4k, but what about ultra wide ? couldn't find any legit source to see performance.

Using ultra wide monitor myself with 1080 Ti and am searching for upgrade, not sure should i get 3080 (if possible) or rx 6800 xt, I wish to give AMD a chance this time

Looks like it still depends on the game if AMD or Nvidia is better.

Hey check out:

Both cards are great options at 3440x1440p, I also use an ultrawide and have an RTX 3080 but wanted that more for creating some raytraced renders and CAD work than its gaming performance.

I'd say for most people right now, the decision is driven by stock and urgency(do you need a card asap?) rather than preference.

3440X1440 is about 1/3 more pixels than 1440p, and 4k is another 2/3 more over that. So you can try to kinda extrapolate between the results at 1440p and 4k accordingly, leaning towards 1440p. As a wider average the non-RT performance differences between them isn't significant so either will do, unless you want specific other functionality on either side.

I'd expect these cards to perform similar for 2,5K

I'd say go with whatever is the cheapest since these cards are more similar than different.
