SSD Sandisk Plus 2TB for €150. Great deal or cheap $h*t?

JonnyKennedy

I saw at Amazon SSD Sandisk Plus 2TB for €150.

On Dutch Website Tweakers I saw the disk have TLC, but I saw in video of TechQuickly that the SSD have DRAM-less cache.

Worth buying for install games and some Virtual VM's or a pass?

For games, a DRAM-less drive should work fine enough.

That being said, the 2TB Plus seems to use a different controller from the lower capacity models, which does actually have a DRAM cache.

For 2TB, that sounds like quite a good deal. I'd say go for it.

if all you are going to do with it is to store game then go for it, it's a really good deal

Two owners said DONT BUY IT. The drive is within 2 years defective.

But If i check at Amazon.de and Amazon.com I see mixed reviews (mostly positive).

It's difficult.....
