New to RGB

Hi,

I use a Fractal Design Define R6 case. I like the look but it is not really impressive.
So I would like to add constant light blue LED light as 2 strips inside the fron panel so they shine through the front air intake.

Maybe you can help me find the best solution.

 

Case: Fractal Design Define R6

Mainboard: MSI B360-A PRO Intel B360

I guess it's hard to get LED strips in a specific color so I think RGB is the best option.
I don't need 3 pin ARGB though, because I just want 1 constant color (light blue). So 4 pin RGB would be my choice.
Also my mainboard doesn't have any RGB headers. So I think I will need an RGB controller.

I found the Cooler Master C10L. Will that one work?

RGB LED strips should be about 420 mm long since the Define R6 is 448 mm high (without feet).

Also the front panel is aluminum. So magnets will not be good to mount RGB strips.

 

Can you recommend any 4 pin rgb strips?

And please tell me if I was thinking wrong somewhere. This is the first time I do something with RGB.

I usually recommend the cable mod LED's they're quite good and have a remote control function for independent control if your motherboard does not have built in RGB headers. There are others out there also with similar kits available such as Deep cool and Coolermaster depending on your local availability.
