Posted November 16, 2020 Hello forum, I will buy a 27" monitor. I will probably spend 50% time on gaming and 50% time on text editing. I can't choose between 1440p 144hz 1ms and 1080p 240hz 1ms. Can somebody help me? I wonder if it's worth it to lose the 100hz for the sharper image. EDIT: I have no problems with running any game 144fps+ on both resolutions (rtx 2080ti + i9-9900k) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options... Posted November 16, 2020 The exact model is important too, but in general I'd prefer the higher resolution. 144 to 240 is diminishing returns especially when you account for some games having problems to reach those framerates, but that's highly dependent on what you're going to run there.
