stupidly overpowered pc build

Budget (including currency): $2500 usd

Country: united states

Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for:  generalized gaming, 144p and 4k video editing, audio editing in abelton, and 3d moldling

Other details (existing parts none, peripherals needed monitor mouse, upgrading from nothing, going to buy before christmas, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at 1440p 165hz , etc):  it is a stupid budget because i can and if at all possible i want a 5900x and 3080ti

Sounds to me that you will have a real use(s) for this much hardware. So your budget would be justified.

you can alwase make a mc server out of it

The problem is to make a mc server you dont need such op specs, just a high clock CPU and RAM

I won't do a build as I don't really keep up with anything other than CPU or GPU but...

For any 3D modeling/rendering workload as many cores as you can and as much RAM capacity as you can...

CPU: Intel i7 - 5820k @ 4.5GHz, Cooler: Corsair H80i, Motherboard: MSI X99S Gaming 7, RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX 32GB DDR4 2666MHz CL16,

GPU: ASUS GTX 980 Strix, Case: Corsair 900D, PSU: Corsair AX860i 860W, Keyboard: Logitech G19, Mouse: Corsair M95, Storage: Intel 730 Series 480GB SSD, WD 1.5TB Black

Display: BenQ XL2730Z 2560x1440 144Hz

here's one. It's a bit over, and because 3080 isn't available, so add $500+ to the total. Also, didn't know how much storage you needed 😁
