currently i run a 3900x with a 360mm aio a 5700 non xt sapphire pulse 16 gigs 3733mhz ram all on a CH7 hero mobo alongside a 750 watt seasonic focus gold psu. i game at 1080p 60hz, mainly because the monitor i own was used only costed me 40$. my last screen res was 1280x1024 so 1080p was seen as a nice upgrade for 40$

my question is do i upgrade to a 5700XT or a 6000 series such as the 6800/6800XT

keep in mind i wont be upgrading till next year ptolly around feb or march

some info that might help you answer my question

#1 im worried that my psu might not be enough for a 6800XT
#2 im on disability so saving up money for a new gpu can be difficult, since i only get paid once a month. altho atm i have just enough saved up for a 5700XT or a 6800XT, give or take a few dollars.
#3 reason for wanting to upgrade just not happy with my 5700 in some games AC: odyssey struggles in some places at high settings given its poorly optimized im not surprised. i just wanna future proof my system a lil

lastly i cant afford to upgrade my system every year example i had an old HP Z400 with an i7 990x from 2015 till late october of 2019 when i upgraded to am4 because i couldnt afford to upgrade

thanks for your time and sorry for the long post

Your current GPU is already a little overkill for your monitor, when it comes to gaming. Don't bother upgrading your system in disability checks. Save your money for something more worthwhile, your PC is quite good.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Primary PC:

i7 8086k - EVGA Z370 Classified K - G.Skill Trident Z RGB - WD SN750 - Jedi Order Titan Xp - Hyper 212 Black (with RGB Riing flair) - EVGA G3 650W - dual booting Windows 11 and Fedora Linux - Black and green theme, Razer brainwashed me.

Draws 400 watts under max load, for reference.

PSU tier list

How many watts do I need?

Have you considered upgrading to 32 gigs of ram? Not needed for gaming but it does create a better user experience, things may be running in the background, updating, etc.

Forgive me El Guapo. I know that I, Jefe, do not have your superior intellect and education...
