i just wanna start off by wishing the internet a happy 25th B-day (even though its half past midnight) 

 

what is the hidden internet. and link some "hidden stuff" nothing ILLEGAL like child porn please 

Space Journal #1: So Apparently i  was dropped on the moon like i'm a mars rover, in a matter of hours i have found the transformers on the dark side of the moon. Turns out its not that dark since dem robots are filled with lights, i waved hi to the Russians on the space station, turns out all those stories about space finding humans instead of the other way around is true(soviet Russia joke). They threw me some Heineken beer and I've been sitting staring at the people of this forum and earth since.

What do you mean by "hidden internet". Do you mean things that are linked anywhere but exist? Darknet? Tor etc?

No point in going there, the last 2 times I went there most pages ether loaded really slow, or didn't load at all.

The hidden internet is the part of the web that isn't indexed by search engines like Google to put it as simply as possible.

of course there is some things of interest in addition to landmines that you really have to nope your way away from before you get raided by the men in the black vans.

The hidden internet is the part of the web that isn't indexed by search engines like Google to put it as simply as possible.

Extrapolate from this and you realize that the term "Darknet" "Deep Web" is a bit more innocuous then one would think. Technically speaking anything behind a password or pay-wall is pard of the darknet deep web. 

 

And as others have said, anything worth hiding from the general public is usually either illegal or none of your business. The internet at large would have to get some very strict controls before I considered any alternatives.

I would not associate the OPs quesiton with the term 'darknet', and I disagree that anything behind a password or a paywall classifies as being a darknet because the anonynimity factor is missing.

yes basically. stuff not linked on search engines
