SilverStone showed off new NAS case in CeBit 2014

Besides the FT05, Silverstone also showed off a new NAS case, DS260. Different from the DS380 which released earlier, DS260 is a smaller case, house 6 2.5" hdd, and support itx motherboard and tfx power supply. It has a AP182 fan install on the bottom part of the case for cooling.

  • 1 year later...

Hate it. Impractical toploading, wonky asymmetric gaps top and bottom, can't be stacked, minimal venting, only 5 bays. In short - everything I don't look for in a NAS box.

Why are all cases that come pre-configured to use that amazing 180mm fan so SHIT?

Mighty fine necro though

In case the moderators do not ban me as requested, this is a notice that I have left and am not coming back.

Is this available anywhere?

Firstly, please don't reply old posts like this, as it is against the forum guideline... (please feel free to correct me if I'm wrong...)

secondly, this chassis has been renamed as "CS01" and "CS01-HS", which you can see here for more detail...

This case will be available in May in Japan, according to Japanese media ASCII, thus it should be available worldwide soon...

We should know more about release date worldwide in June during Computex...
