Half Life Alyx no VR mod?

AndreiArgeanu

I was wondering if there was a mod for Half Life Alyx that would allow me to play the game with a standard keyboard and mouse or/and controller. I know that it takes away from the experience and what not but frankly enough I'm not at a point where I can afford to spend 200-300$ on an entry level VR headset.

It would be more entertaining to watch a let's play channel than to play with mouse and keyboard to be honest.

Fairly certain there is no way to use keyboard and mouse, game's too new and too complex.

I WILL find your ITX build thread, and I WILL recommend the SIlverstone Sugo SG13B

Gonna have to agree with @Fasauceome. It's really tailored for VR, so if you just want the story it's probably better to watch it.

Reading the "Walkthrough difficulties" setting already makes me frustrated by the amount and combination of buttons for those parts :( It may be worth a try if you really want to actually play it.
