500 cad budget

Hey Im new to all this im looking to build a gaming computer with the budget of 500 mark i got a HP Pavillion P7 Desktop the motherboard in it is a ipisb-cu the rest of the info is in the pic i wanted to know if anyone could please tell me what kind of decent graphics card i could get thanks

What are you planning on doing with the computer? If you want to play games on it, you'll probably need to upgrade the RAM in addition to getting a GPU. If you're just using it for basic web browsing, work, or school-related activities, integrated graphics will work fine (though more RAM would still help performance. Windows 10 struggles on anything 4GB or under from my experience.)

How much does this particular system cost? I wouldn't use it for anything more than a web-browsing/ content consumption machine. Especially for refurbished units, you can get a far more better used Dell Optiplex with a Core i5 for that money. It'll have a better CPU albeit maybe a generation or two older, but with more RAM as office machines typically have 8GB nowadays and maybe even a SSD if you're lucky.

That's not a good starting place. Here's what you'd want to do with a budget of $500:

• Buy a Dell Optiplex off of eBay, or your local classifieds. Should cost about $175.
• Buy a video card like a 1050Ti or 1650 that doesn't require any PSU cables, and plug that in.
• With whatever you have left, maybe upgrade the RAM or add a small SSD.

Really, with a budget that small if it's just for gaming I'd get a console.

Also regarding the graphics card, depends on the type of games you want to play and at what details, resolution, and frame rates.
