Alienware Monitor with AMD 6800xt

Would my gsync monitor be compatible with the new AMD 6800xt? I don't use gsync with my current setup. After seeing the AMD announcement, it really made me wonder if i should or could use and AMD card with my monitor or if I would need to stick with waiting for a 3000 series card.

Yeah, that's a g-sync only monitor.

That sucks. I was hoping I would have the option for the AMD 6800xt but I guess gifts of nvidia keeps on giving.
