RAM Questions

So today I went onto Amazon.com to randomly check ram prices and I noticed that some Kingston RAM was on sale.

The kit I have in my system ATM has this code KHX16C9B1BK2/8 and on amazon the kit with this code KHX16C9B1BK2/8X is cheaper.

From what I can see the cheaper kit is XMP ready where my kit isn't. Would there be an issue if i put the XMP

memory in my system right now with non XMP ram?

If i'm not clear sorry if you need clarification ask me

I didn`t tried myself but I don`t think you will have any probblems, the only "problem" is that you won`t be able to use XMP mode.

Thats what i thought but I figured better ask first, It's not like i'm using it right now with my current ram.
