Multi Monitor

JacTech17

Hey just had a quick question I have two Alienware 25 Gaming Monitor: AW2518HF that are TN panels and planing on getting a third monitor which is the newer version of my monitor that is IPS  called ALIENWARE 25 AW2521HF  I was wondering would there be any conflict mixing two different type of panels because I was also think about doing the vise versa and selling one of my monitors and get two of the newer IPS monitors and one TN in the middle for triple monitor gaming. Also both monitors are the AMD free-sync version.

new version:

Nope, as long as you intend to use them as three seperate monitors (so not in a triple monitor gaming setup), you can mix and match whatever you like.

Personally I am running three completely different monitors and it's working fine.

The only thing you would like to be the same is the stand, bezels and in general the look of the monitor, but that should be fine if you're basically buying the same thing, but with IPS instead of TN.

what would happen if you merge the  3 monitor into one monitor using AMD eyefinity I think   for multi monitor gaming
