Yeah it does. Wont likely sound as good as a "real" headphone amp/DAC

It can but it has other features such and inputs for microphones. So if your after something just for headphones theres a better things to spend your money on instead of wasting it on features you arnt going to use.

The UM2 would not be a quality headphone amp, the cheapest good option behringer makes for this is the MA400. If you really want the USB and/or XLR functionality the cheapest decent option is the UMC202HD.
