Sony HX90 vs HX99

Hey all, I've been looking at getting a nice n compact "super zoom". I've briefly owned a Wx500, which i found the IQ to be good and the "30x zoom" to be very usable however, I really disliked how it lacked manual focus, as the contrast AF really struggled with anything beyond half the zoom range. Mind you, I do have my Sony A7 (paired to a 24-105mm f4 and 35mm f1.8) so I'm not looking for the best and sharpest image ever. 

 

With this in mind, I've been eyeing up the HX90 (literally the Wx500 but with an EVF and manual focus) and the HX99. The HX90 is £130 (second hand) and the HX99 is £250 (Sony refurb). I guess the question is whether the HX99 has enough improvements over the HX90 to justify the £120 price tag increase? Any opinions?

you could just get a tighter lens for your A7, older manual only should fit under 250£
