I'm jus back for an opinion

I'm just back for an opinion...

I was juz searching amazon and I found an fm2 socket processor and motherboard affordable....

I'll talk abt the processor and Mobo later,. Now this is my current specs:

MY PC SPECS:

AMD Sempron 145 (Unlocked into an athlon x2 4450e

Motherboard: ASUS M4N68T-M LE V2

Ram: 4gb Apotop ddr3 1333mhz

Grahics Card: GeForce 7025/ nforce 630a (In the motherboard)

Hard Drive: WD 500gb 7200rpm hard drive

SSD: 2.5 inch Crucial BX 500 120GB DRAM less

Power Supply: Cheap ready to blow Zebronics 250 watt power supply

*Please Note* I am upgading my power supply from a 'Ready To Blow' 250 watt to another 'Ready To Blow' 450 watt power supply

The processor I saw was an amd a6 6400k procesor and GA-F2A68HM-S1 MOBO

Should I buy this combo or go for an 3rd Gen i5 and a cheap zebronics Mobo

The reason why I considered the a6 was the Mobo seems to have a ram capacity of 32 gigs while the Mobo for i5 had only 8gig

Pls gimme a opinion asap

*THE PURPOSE IS MID RANGE GAMING AND CONTENT CREATION*

what are the prices for these?

can you not afford entry level current gen components? they usually beat even high end old components on both price and performance.

No. Stop. That's a terrible choice, even for free.

What price are we talking here? We can help you more if you give a budget.

I think I'd take the Intel option. Far higher performance CPU.

I had an A10-5800K in my previous system. It's an awful processor in pretty much every way. I had no choice at the time, as my PC died and it was going free as something to get by with. Basically, if it's AMD after Phenom II and before Ryzen, don't bother. You'll be far better off with an i5-3xxx CPU and only 8GB RAM, than you will with an A6-6xxx and 32GB RAM.

That is a huge ripoff amds current athlon 3000 which is not only cheaper absolutely destroys that a6 in terms of performance.

You need a new pc as well your current one is gonna cost you more upgrading and trying to save money AND be worse than if you just get a cheap new one.
