You need to clone it.  There are several utilities to do it, such as EaseUS Todo Backup.  It often doesn't work though.  Windows doesn't like being copied to another drive.  That's why fresh installs are always the recommended path.

No, you need a tool called disk cloner.

Don't do fresh install before you try cloning.

Fresh install is the last thing when all options failed.

As others said, you need a tool. Macrium Reflect is a good tool for that.

At least when I tried it, it did resizing as well. I moved my mother-in-law's stuff from a broken 500GB HDD to a 240GB SSD. I certainly have never paid anything for this app.
