Places to find Arduino projects?

I've got an Uno rev 3 and need to practice a bit before I get assigned to some projects at school. I've already checked out r/arduino and r/arduinoprojects. Any suggestions?

Remote controlled doors, temp sensors, power on/off switches, etc.

Find a little problem you want to solve, maybe an automated plant watering system or something. I find the best way to learn/practice a skill is to solve a problem that requires that skill.

well what i do is i declare what i want to  do then i research find a project that you want to then research

I have found the best way to learn is to find a problem you want to solve and solve it. 

I can't stop spending money my stupid home lab, help.
