Corsair HX1000 vs RM1000x?

Hi I am about to build a new system and I need to decide on a psu its either the HX1000/RM1000x the price difference here is 10$ Are they different at all other than the HX's platinum rating? or practically the same thing?

For the $10 difference the HX easily.

Also as for difference you have multi-rail on the HX, improved efficiency, and a better fan (FDB)

The HX is also multi/single rail switchable and of course as you mentioned the Platinum vs. Gold rating. Both not something most people would probably notice, but of course it depends on the sort of build you're powering.

Multi rail

HX fan has Fluid Dynamic Bearing, RM has rifle. So HX fan might be quieter. Both are great, but the HX is better for reasons mentioned above.

It goes on sale sometimes. I bought that model for $130 on black friday. There are other options too.
