System bottle necking

Hi 

 

I bought a Asus rog strix G531GT and it is getting bottlenecked while playing Odyssey can any one suggest some thing for improving this .

 

Ram : 16 Gb ddr5

Processor : intel i7 9750H 2.6 ghz with turbo boost upto 4.5 ghz

GPU :NVIDIA Geforce GTX 1650

That really isn't a bottlenecked system at all. What settings and resolution are you trying to play at, and also I am pretty sure the assassin's creed ports have never been stellar at performance.

GPU  usage is 98 percentage and CPU is just  48 to 50 percentage is this not bottle necking ? /system is over heating

That's not a bottleneck at all since your gpu is pegged to damn near 100%

GPU bottlenecks are a thing btw. If the CPU is only at 50, and the GPU 100, either the game uses less cores, or the GPU is bottleneck the CPU.

Run Prime95 in the background or sell the laptop and get one with better gpu.

You got laptop. If you bought it as default config, you need to tweak game settings. There's nothing you can do hardware-wise.

Everything is as it should be.

 

GPU = High Usage

CPU = Low Usage
