8gb would be fine for a light load.

And you won't see a HUGE performance difference between black and blue.

I would get the 16gb, it helps. Wd blue or barracuda is a better choice than black as far as price/performance goes.

Personally I wouldn't SLI 760's. Get one high end GPU like a 780(ti). Guaranteed performance vs. Driver Dependent. Also, the cards would be right against each other, restricting airflow, and increasing temps.

P.S. Asus DC2 760's are fugly.

780Ti is like $1000+ I believe, that's a significant jump.

Maybe he uses Chrome ;)

It looks nice but to save money go with a nh-d14 or dark rock pro 3. They preform the same and cost less. Also if you don't what to overclock or just a small one the hyper 212 evo is great. Also go for a 780 or 780ti, the sli 760 aren't the best. It is better to go with a better single card than 2 lower end cards.

Due to scaling your only going to be getting a max of about 80% of the performance from the second card.

It's about $900-$1000 in AUD or about $800-$900 USD http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=26589&cPath=876

There's no need to by a Maximus Gene board. Please don't do it, it's just wasted money.

I've been looking into mATX boards and it seems like one of the best. Why do you think it's wasted money?
