DriedSponge

Should I buy dust filters specfically made for PC intake fans, or are there better "diy" solutions?

It came with one magnetic dust filter for the top fan, which I moved to one of the front fans because I use top for outake. It also came with a dust filter for the power supply fan. Here is the link to the case if you need more info:

Isn't the front mesh panel already acting as air filter?

No it does not. I put the magnetic dust filter right behind the mesh and found that the mesh was catching little to no dust.
