Can I use different fans on a AIO?

Will the AIO work if I replace the fans that is on the ASUS Rog Ryujin 360 RGB AIO Liquid CPU Cooler with the LIAN LI UNI FAN SL120 fans?

 

Is there anything that could go wrong with this? Or any information I need to know about changing the fans from this AIO?

It might make the performance worse but otherwise it should work

Should work, screw mounts are usually in the same spots for all brands, that is if you have the same size fans of course. People change aio fans all the time, my friend just swapped the nzxt kraken fans from his aio to the full rgb corsair fans so it would match his case fans

the new fans may have different balance on static pressure and air volume that doesn't work as well on this radiator design.

fan is not only based on RPM alone, too many things to consider

RPM is just fan rotation speed. It doesnt mean everything.

 

Cheap AIOs can come with cheap fans, but this one is anything but cheap

How much of a difference will it be between the stock fan and the Lian Li fans? Like 1C or 5C degrees higher?

As long as they connect to your motherboard header/controller

that you will have to test. On paper the NF-F12 delivers a tiny bit more static pressure at 1500RPM while Lian Li's spinning at 1900RPM, so at the same RPM it should do about 3C higher. Of course same RPM doesnt mean the same perceived noise, but you could expect to make Lian Li fans run louder for the same performance.
