Turn off your PC.

Now turn it on and start pressing the DELETE key on your keyboard constantly.

You should now go into the BIOS.

enable the feature show here:

Now press F10 (save and exit), don't touch the PC for a minute, it might turn off and on a couple times.

Now check your memory speed in the same way as before:

(Task Manager > Performance > Memory > See speed in the bottom right. Probably somewhere in the 1066 - 1600Mhz range)

You should see (around) 1500Mhz now.

Now run the earlier recommended benchmarks (I would just do Cinebench R20 and 3DMark TimeSpy within the demo on Steam) and report back the results of these benchmarks.
