Asus P8Z77-V LK ram problems

Hey guys! So i just built a friend a 1155 system (yes i know it's old but don't worry it's only for online classes) 
 
And i have this problem with ram, i have two generic 16gb 1600 ddr3 sticks and for some reason the motherboard does not boot with these specific sticks. 
The thing is i tried both sticks at a different motherboard and system and they get detected perfectly

I also tried different ram sticks (the one from the system I mentioned earler) and it posted fine.

The DRAM light was on when the sticks are on the motherboard. Yes I tried each stick in each ram slot and even dual channel but still get the red LED.

Do you guys have any solutions or ideas?
