Best Buy Seems To Think The 3060 Will Be Released Soon

If you visit the Best Buy website -- you can sort by the new 3000 series GPUs.  While that itself is exciting for those eager to buy it's also a bit revealing.  Which GPUs the site displays are the known cards, but what it shows as a filter is not.  It's a filter for a 3060.

I believe Tom's made mention of a rumored November release and perhaps Best Buy's inclusion of a 3060 filter means that rumor holds water.

That's interesting, but the idea that it will release before the other cards is pretty silly.  It says 9/17/2020.  My guess is it's a mistake.

Edit: Yeah, it's clearly a mislabeled 3080 based on the price and release date.

No no.  That's just a result of how I clipped the screen.  All three announced cards are displayed.  The fact that the site uses the 3060 filter is the only thing of interest there.

I changed the image to avoid that same confusion.

Board partners are apparently expecting it on October/November, so probably Best Buy are expecting similar dates?

And now that AMD seems to be launching RDNA2 on October 28, Nvidia will probably launch something to take away the attention like they (almost) always do.

Hmmm, Best Buy has since removed the 3060 filter.
