G - sync on but still experiencing tearing

Question mark??

Hello is it normal to experience tearing when running Assasins Creed Orgins on 60 fps, 144 hz with g-sync on? (No v-sync)

Thanks for any answers in advance ;=)

Is your display only G-sync Compatible, and not try G-sync? What is the model? I'm wondering if there may be problems with a limited VRR range.

You also need to enable VSync in Nvidia Control Panel but have it disabled in the in-game settings

It has a sticker that says G-Sync on it.

Thanks for all the help, appreciate it.

What is the reasoning behind that? (Just for my own knowledge).

Checked the model, it is native G-sync so should work at any speed. I'll leave it to the others for configuration suggestions.

GSync was designed to work with VSync, you may get tearing near the bottom of the screen when VSync is disabled but it may not be really noticeable, depends on who you ask really...
