Hi, everyone!

I'm new to the forums, hope this is the right place to post this. I'm having a heck of a time finding a keyboard that checks all my boxes. I'm looking for something that meets at least most of the following criteria:

Wireless (2.4)

Rechargeable

Full layout with num pad

Back lit / illuminated

Mechanical (nice to have, not necessary)

Programmable function keys (another nice to have)

Any recommendations are much appreciated. Hope everyone is having a good day!

It's definitely a plus, but reliable bluetooth would work too. Budget-wise, I'd prefer to stay under $150

the only decent-ish keyboard under your budget with a 2.4 Ghz connection is the G613 (but pretty sure there are more out there, cant remember off the top of my head though) but this uses batteries.

if you are ok with bluetooth you can check out the Keychron K4/K1, the K1 being a low profile mech. cant really recommend any switches, mainly because its personal preference, you can get a switch tester to try them out.

Thanks, all. I'm not super keen on the compact format, but it looks like the K4 is where I'm going to get the best value/features in my budget. The G915 looks like a dream, but I just can't justify spending that much on a keyboard. :(

That is what I was thinking. The G915 is so expensive. 250 for a keyboard is ridiculous. the K4 seems like a very good choice though

Is there a reason you want a wireless keyboard because unless you have a laptop that you plan to use the keyboard with there isn't a very big advantage to have a wireless setup as far as portability goes its not like your going to just whip out a tower and a monitor at the airport so you'll probably have a desk or table to sit at making wireless unnecessary

The main reason is easy switching between my work laptop and personal desktop (on the same desk). Can't use synergy or similar on my work laptop.

I also have my desktop hooked up to my TV in the room next door and would like to be able to just pick up my keyboard and sit down on the couch instead of having multiples.

Last reason is cleanness of setup. Have a lot of audio production peripherals and want to reduce cabling.

I simply prefer the ISO layout. I think most people do. If you come from an ISO layout and try to type on an ANSI layout you get mad really quickly, because you'll miss the enter key constantly.
