Guides subforum 'wiki' option

wall03

Is it possible to create a switch/option to create a wiki page, editable by the community, on the Guides and Tutorials forum?

Some people (including myself) want to create a guide but don't have the time and availability to maintain it all the time. (Example) It would help a ton with a large post 2 years old that is 1 year out of date but the original writer is inactive in the forum, forgot about the guide, or need to do other things off the forum.

The forum software does have a concept of a wiki, but it doesn't have any of the features like the ability to review or roll back edits that would be essential for having any sort of wiki; even if we did use that, it would require a significant change to how Guides and Tutorials works, because it isn't compatible with topics, just with another primitive ("pages") in the software, so switching to it wouldn't be easy.

It's a nice idea, but it's not feasible in practice at the moment.
