Posted September 2, 2020 i bought a Dell OptiPlex 790mt some time ago and its been while since last upgrade. I have a gt 1030 in there now do you think a gtx 1050ti would work? Im looking at a 1050 that doesnt need extra 8 pin power. I would like your opinion about it thanks!
 I have an Optiplex 790 SFF, which ships with a slightly lower wattage power supply than the 790mt. My 1650, which draws more power under load than the 1050ti, works flawlessly in it.
