Inexpensive gaming headset: TUF H3 vs G230

I'm looking for something inexpensive to get a microphone for online gaming, these are two of the options that came up in the sub-$50 range. I've never owned a gaming headset so this is completely new territory. Other suggestions welcome, though I'm looking for something without a USB connection and surround and all that, just 3.5mm jacks.

My Current Setup:
