Well, still, why can't I make friends with girls? I think of it as kinda normal.

You have to be more open and not shy... Its very simple. They are the other gender theres nothing wrong or struggle to talk to them. And talking tot hem freely is the first way to make friends.

My only advice is to start making little conversations with her anytime you get, especially the time between classes (i.e. hallways) Don't be shy to be her partner (it helps a lot). Find her sense of humor and don't go overboard on the jokes though, and don't go too far. After a few weeks ask her out. This works trust me, if not just get a fedora, always get the fedora.
