Why is Amazon and Newegg ripping people off?

So I was looking at the 19-10900K Processors and multiple sights have this cpu listed at around $600 dollars but Newegg and Amazon were both outliers in the price. For example Best Buy sells this cpu for 530 US Dollars but Amazon sells it for 830 and newegg sells at 860

Out of those six retailers, only Amazon and Newegg actually have it in stock. Additionally it's being sold by third party sellers on both sites, not Amazon or Newegg themselves. It's not uncommon to see price hikes on recently released top tier CPUs.

Just by quick glance, this is most likely because they are currently out-of-stock, price will go down to normal when back in stock.

yep, just what Peace22 said, all the other places are out of stock most likely. The Newegg and Amazon prices are normally third party sellers that mark way up due to demand. Once normal stock is back the price will return to normal too.
