Why is Amazon and Newegg ripping people off?

Out of those six retailers, only Amazon and Newegg actually have it in stock. Additionally it's being sold by third party sellers on both sites, not Amazon or Newegg themselves. It's not uncommon to see price hikes on recently released top tier CPUs.
