Get rid of the "other settings" panel

I think it's a bit silly to have a list of settings, and then choose to just not put some settings in it.

Any chance this could be changed?

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

It's based on the Windows 10 model where you just scatter your various settings around in differently formatted areas. 🤣

This is pretty baked into the forum software, and not something that we can control. I can suggest it to the forum software devs, but they are not known for their receptiveness to suggestions.

 

Ignored members definitely could be moved (as above though, not by us), and perhaps notification settings could as well (although that interface is reasonably complex and may not behave well in the settings UI). Editing your profile is quite a different experience though, and normally accessed by clicking "Edit Profile" from your profile - you probably wouldn't want that to take you to settings.
