Lian Li Distro Plate and CPU Block

Hey Guys,

I am planning to custom watercool my system and I just wanted to ask you guys what you think about those two "things":

Alphacool Eisblock XPX Aurora, Digital RGB, Plexi Black

I am going to use the DP in the Lian Li O11D XL.

$200 for a distro plate ?!

Cant believe they still selling for such prices, they aint hard to make if u got a CnC or know som1 with one. U can learn to design one in something like Fusion 360 which u can legally download and use for free.

The EKWB distro plate is excellent but as @SolarNova says, VERY expensive for what it is even accounting for the cost of the DDC pump. That said I've had an absolute mare of a time trying to get my custom O11D-XL distro plate actually made; I'm on my second CNC place now and nearly three months down the line from when I initially commissioned it.

There are several other options ranging from the bigger Chinese manufacturers like Barrow and Blyski, to BitsPower, to a few custom-made eBay specials, which are in some cases priced a bit more competitively.

The CPU block seems okay, lags behind the likes of EK and WaterCool in performance though and there seem to be some reports of slightly flaky quality control.
