fifine t669 mic on discord

Hi, I got my fifine t669 today and my friends say it sounds bad on discord. I streamed on twitch and clipped my own voice and it sounds great. Is there a way to improve the quality on discord?

If you were using a poor quality mic before, is it possible that you cranked the input volume in Discord to make the sound audible from it and forgot to turn it down again, causing clipping?

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Make sure Discord is actually using your correct input device

Sloth's the name, audio gear is the game

Turn off echo cancelation and maybe noise reduction but echo cancelation defanetly messes with it you can listen to what you mic sounds like in the voice and video

have you found a way to fix it I just bought the same mic and my friends said it sounds muffled on discord

Found a fix for me at least i have a Msi B450 motherboard and bought the fifine T669. It sounded really bad in games and discord. After 3 months of looking i gave upp and bought a headset. But it also sounded bad and i have recently done a fresh windows install so i dident think that was the problem. I then started upp the PC and entered bios tested turning of Legacy USB support and it fixed my issues for both my devices. The weird thing is i have not have this problem with earlier headsets and came from nowhere when i got the fifine.
