Hello,

I’m looking for a case that dampens noise and has an okay airflow as well, be quiet series caught my attention but the small vents at the front won’t let inside enough fresh air. Do you guys have any recommendations for a modern case with a foam that is also pretty spacious up to 200$? Thank you so much^^

I've heard that CoolerMaster Silencio cases are quite good, though I don't know if they would fit your needs.

Thanks for reading all this by the way!

By the way, my desktop is a docked laptop. Get over it, No seriously, I have an exterrnal monitor, keyboard, mouse, headset, ethernet and cooling fans all connected. Using it feels no different to a desktop, it works for several hours if the power goes out, and disconnecting just a few cables gives me something I can take on the go. There's enough power for all games I play and it even copes with basic (and some not-so-basic) video editing. Give it a go - you might just love it.

Your ideal case is the Phanteks P600S.

It's a silence-optimized case with a quick-removable front panel for great airflow.

Also the included 3 140mm fans are more than enought to keep everything quiet and cool.

If someone did not use reason to reach their conclusion in the first place, you cannot use reason to convince them otherwise.

Rather than approach this topic with a case with foam, I recommend using a high airflow case with quiet fans. BeQuiet and Noctua are great fans for this.

The more sound-proof the case is, the less airflow it will have. The dampening foam doesn't do as much as you think it will, and what a lot of manufacturers have to do to 'sound dampen' a case is to limit where air can pass, because then it limits where noise can escape. The problem with this is that the less air that can pass in from the outside, the faster the fans run due to the cooling performance being crap.

If you have good airflow, the fans don't spin up as much, and don't have to work as hard, and aren't as loud.

I have an i9 9900k with a high overclock cooled by a Dark Rock Pro 4 and in cpu heavy games it’s audible. My case fans are already pretty quiet that’s why I’m looking for a balance in between airflow and silence

Well if you are really looking for a case that is quite you should be looking for a case without glass side/front panels.

Also the quality of the case fans should be a top priority.

Be Quiet Silent Base 601 / Silent Base 801

Fractal Define 7

You should also consider which CPU cooler you choose.

You can't go wrong with Noctua in both performance and noise.
