Bios Update/ z390

Go to solution Solved by Windows7ge,

You can upgrade strait to F8.

It'd be a real hassle if updating the BIOS required you to step through each update sequentially.

The newest available, or the newest available that doesn't have issues. So if F9g isn't working properly do F8.

For what reason are you updating your BIOS? Overclock stability I take it? It's not overly likely that someone here has you board and has tested BIOS versions F6 to F8. Seeing how there's only 3 to test your best option will probably be to test each yourself if you're so inclined.

Things like AIDA64, Prime95, Cinebench R20, benchmarks such as Unique Valley, Time Spy, etc.

Of course every workload is different. You won't really know how stable your O.C. is until you test it on the programs you intend to run.
