I believe you can use wifi to make a voice call and text. Making voicecalls via wifi should be a setting in the android os. It should 'work' but of course you'll need a wifi connection. Not sure though how people would be able to call you without some type of voip service though.

Yeah, voip works like normal phones so long as you have an internet connection.

You can download Skype and pay for their service there you can call and text but the TAB needs wifi 24/7 for that to work

Reminder⚠️

I'm just speaking from experience so what I say may not work 100%

Please try searching up the answer before you post here but I am always glad to help

Google voice should work for you. It will assign you a phone number and you should be able to call when on wifi.

I am far from an expert in this so please correct me if I’m wrong.

Only with VoIP. Because they dont include a dialer with tablets, even the ones with LTE as the SIM cards used in most tablets are data only. On a side note, if you have an Apple phone and Tablet/Computer and they are on the same WiFi network, you can call out and accept calls on those devices. I take calls and make calls on my MacBook Pro all the time. But the key is, my iPhone has to be on the same network as the MacBook Pro.

If it has a cell radio, just install a dialer/contacts app and hook up an earpiece with mic. And then it should function just like any phone with earpiece attached.

Most tablets use data only SIMs. Meaning they technically cant call phone numbers. The OP has to use VoIP.

I just want to sit back and watch the world burn.
