4ghz oc on ryzen 7 2700?

I tried to get my 2700 to 4ghz at 1.3V but my system was unstable and shut down. Not sure if I just got a bad chip for ocing or if I did something wrong.

 

Edit: Temps did not exceed 60 degrees overclocked.

 

MOBO: Gigabyte x470 Ultra Gaming

PSU: EVGA 1000w

1.3 V is probably a little low for 4.0 GHz if my 1700X is anything to go off of.

Remove the OC, and monitor the chip voltages. See what it uses at 4.0 GHz turbo;

 

My 1700X hits 1.55 V for 3.9 GHz, so I'd predict about the same voltage at +200 MHz on Zen+, so 4.1 GHz.

 

Otherwise, sneak up the voltage until it becomes stable. I personally use P95 for stress testing.

Takes me 1.4v for 4.2ghz on R7 1700.  1.393v for 4.1ghz, 1.375v for 4.0ghz (I have a golden sample)

Also would I need to add voltage to dynamic vcore soc or just v core
