PC randomly restarting without any Error

Go to solution Solved by Waqas409,

I fixed the issue.
My motherboard has 6 ram slots, i was using 8gb x3 in wrong configuration.
so whenever my ram usage was going above 16GB it restarted my computer.
played around with the ram slots, got the right ones and now even with ram usage 20+Gb i never had any single crash.

Hi,
my computer is getting restarted randomly without any error or bsod.
In event viewer log i get the following error tagged as "Critical"

Error: Event ID: 6008
(The previous system shutdown at 9:33:33 PM on ‎8/‎14/‎2020 was unexpected)

Critical: Event ID : 41
(The system has rebooted without cleanly shutting down first. This error could be caused if the system stopped responding, crashed, or lost power unexpectedly.)

Any help would be appreciated alot because im totally blind what to diagnose in this regard.
Thanks

EDIT:
I just noticed if i do any demanding tasks it restarted. I remember when it restarted.

1. when i played a 4K video on youtube

2. When i load a new Scene in Unreal Engine 4

This unreal engine 4 scene is a must restart thing, even if i do it now my pc will restart. With the following error in event log

System Specs:
CPU: Intel Xeon W3690
GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 Ti

Ram: 24gb DDR3
Power Supply: PSU 550W

Event viewer moves hella fast. There's bound to be an actual error causing the reboot if you scroll a bit further down the list. Especially if this occurs regularly.

What will it be called?
most of them are Tagged as "information"
Should i read all of them till the time it got restarted?
i only wrote the one that were red (critical) at the time my pc got restarted.

I don't know what it'll be called. But there'll be a red circle with a ! inside it. You don't have to read them all.
The way event viewer works is it informs you about abnormal behavior in the system (among other things). The two errors you listed were only a consequence of the cause of the system crashing.

on that the only error i get is

Event ID: 6008

The previous system shutdown at 9:33:33 PM on ‎8/‎14/‎2020 was unexpected.

You probably won't find anything in the event log if it's power supply failure

I would replace that, faulty or not

This is the latest error i re-created by just simply opening a map (3d scene) in unreal engine, which stress CPU and GPU 100%Capture.PNG.d4d4f53bc87e9b808993902cc82dff41.PNG

Can you please recommend me a good and solid 600W powersupply?
Thanks

Pick a solid one based on this list, 550W or above is fine

As for specific model recommendations, I don't do those

Basically each tier has a description, you can read it

For your system, you're fine with tier B and above PSU

maybe you can make a new thread for this

I've done a couple PSU remarks before and people here didn't like it, so i refrain from doing that now

Skipping the power supply problem, I don't see anywhere in the thread that you mentioned if you have checked the temperature of the CPU/GPU or Northbridge. I have had a problem like this with a motherboard which shutdown the PC cause of the Northbridge exciding 120-150°C (I don't remember exactly)

any fix? I have had the same issue for months... so far I have narrowed it down to Ryzen 5600x issue or NZXT CAM software problem
